Throughout my life I have found myself stopping in the moment to appreciate the little things. When I was nine months old I found myself battling through adversity for the first time when I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. My childhood wasn’t particularly normal and at a young age I began expressing myself through capturing images with my camera. I’ve always embraced what I have been through and have used it as a way to create a positive impact on peoples’ lives. I feel that this approach in life has enhanced my ability to relate to other people and understand that each moment can hold such magnitude for any individual. The idea of capturing visual images that could seal a moment in time for future generations has not only fueled my passion, but has drawn me into a career in photography.
